Painting in the ‘plein air’ tradition, Beth Forst differentiates herself among Indiana artists through her bold palette, expressive style and unique interpretation of the subjects she paints. Every artwork is reflective of her outgoing personality and willingness to explore new subjects in a fresh and brave way. Her almost abstract, impressionistic style allows the viewer to use their imagination to see beyond the obvious subject, providing an enchanted connection between viewer and painter.
Forst has actively participated in state-wide and regional exhibitions, art fairs, paint outs and art events winning numerous awards and honors for her artwork, including several Best of Show titles. She continues to be a strong force in Indiana art, helping to continue the rich tradition and artistic heritage of skilled painters in our state. Forst's artwork stands out in the rich tapestry of artists in Indiana, making her own distinct statement by infusing her love of painting with her vibrant personality.
