Landscape Photography Workshop for Intermediate to Advanced Photographers with Walt Bistline
Two Saturdays, September 16 and September 23
9:00 am-12:00 pm
This hands-on workshop will span two consecutive Saturday mornings, from 9:00am to noon. On September 16, we will gather in the Photo Studio on the second floor of Earlham College’s new Center for the Visual and Performing Arts (use the South G Street entrance, off College Avenue). After a couple of slide shows on photography in general and landscape photography in particular, we’ll do a photo hike together through Earlham’s “back campus.” A week later, on September 23, we will reconvene in the Photo Studio to review and discuss each other’s work from the hike, so that everyone learns from each other, as well as from the instructor. Although we will “focus” on the landscape, the workshop should benefit any intermediate to advanced photographer interested in better understanding their camera and improving their photography. Because of the brevity of the workshop, digital cameras (rather than traditional film) will work best.
