The Richmond Biennial IPAPA/OPAS Paint Out

The Richmond Art Museum hosts a joint paint out with members of the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association (IPAPA) and the Ohio Plein Air Society (OPAS). This one-day event generally takes place in July. The next paint out is scheduled for 2023.

Every two years, artists Indiana and Ohio plein air artists descend into Richmond scatter across Richmond and the surrounding countryside for a fun day of study, painting and networking.

We usually have a cookout lunch back at the Museum to thank all of the artist for attending.

RAM members and the public are invited to see the finished paintings at a show and sale in the evening.

This is a fun, lighthearted event, so come prepared to enjoy.
