The Richmond Biennial IPAPA/OPAS Paint Out

The Richmond Art Museum hosts a joint paint out with members of the Indiana Plein Air Painters Association (IPAPA) and the Ohio Plein Air Society (OPAS). This one-day event generally takes place in July. 

Every two years, artists Indiana and Ohio plein air artists descend into Richmond scatter across Richmond and the surrounding countryside for a fun day of study, painting and networking.

We host a cookout for the artists as a thank you for joining us.

RAM members and the public are invited to see the finished paintings at a show and sale in the early evening.

This is a fun, lighthearted event, so come prepared to enjoy!
